Discover spectacular beaches on Scotland's West Coast
Scotland may not be the first place you think of for beautiful beaches, but the West Coast is home to many spectacular stretches of white sandy beach that wouldn’t look out of place on a tropical island…
Here’s just a few of our favourites that are only a short distance from our caravan site.
Opposite Rosneath is the town of Helensburgh, which boasts its own sand and shingle beach. Here you can enjoy a paddle or relax in the summer sun. You’re also close to the many cafes, restaurants and bars in this busy little town!

Nestled in Dumbarton, Levengrove Park is a picturesque expanse where the River Leven converges with the estuary of the River Clyde. The park offers views overlooking the Leven to the north and east. The panoramic views extend across the Clyde, encompassing Renfrewshire.
Situated on the Cowal Peninsula, Ardentinny beach boasts the title of the longest beach in the region. Embraced by the shores of Loch Long, this scenic spot is a favoured destination for picnickers, hikers, and families alike.
This pretty bay is the nearest sandy beach to Glasgow, popular with families, walkers and picnickers. There is plenty of space to let of steam and a wide grassy area with benches to enjoy a picnic.
Wemyss Bay features a rocky and shingle beach that offers a southern view overlooking its namesake bay and the upper Firth of Clyde. The beach serves as an ideal view point for observing ferries as they arrive and depart from the terminal, connecting to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.
You won’t have to venture too far from our holiday park to enjoy some of the region’s top family attractions. From castles to distilleries, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

We know that your break isn’t complete without your four-legged friend. We’re the perfect base for scenic walks, fresh air, and quality time spent in nature. Check out local walks and trails for you both to enjoy.
Enjoy some of the finest fishing in the UK. Try your luck fly fishing in the many rivers, go sea fishing or try and hook a monster in the deep waters of Gareloch or Loch Lomond.
Looking for adventure? We’re close to some of the area’s most picturesque towns, cities and villages. So whether you fancy hitting the shops or relaxing with a cuppa, you won’t have to drive far.
Alongside the whisky, the lochs and the breathtaking natural beauty, Scotland is famed as the number one destination in the UK for golf holidays, with dozens of top courses nearby. Be sure to pack your clubs!

Being in a prime position on the edge of the beautiful Gareloch, our caravan park offers the ideal opportunity to participate in some wild swimming.
