Our on-site Castle Isle Bar & Restaurant is popular among our holiday guests and holiday home owners, serving up a range of tasty dishes and drinks. Your accommodation is, of course, set-up for self-catering but if you fancy a break from cooking then the Castle Isle Bar & Restaurant is a great option.
The Castle Isle Bar & Restaurant has recently undergone a fabulous makeover and a warm, inviting atmosphere awaits you. We have a fantastic range of new draught beers for you to try along with delicious wines to accompany your meal.
We’re open for lunch and evening meals and we also offer takeaway, so you can enjoy a great meal back in your accommodation.
Choose from pub classics such as scampi or haddock and chips, and steak pie to curries, burgers and pizzas – there’s something for all the family. Check our Castle Isle Facebook page for updates on our weekly specials! Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are also available.

A valid contact number and e-mail address must be provided upon making a booking and all allergies must be stated in advance.
All restaurant bookings are subject to availability.
Tables are available for 1 hour and 30 mins for food service, after which they will be re-booked for another customer. Please contact us if you would like to stay at your table for longer than this period and, if we have space available, we will do our best to accommodate you. For tables booked at 8pm or later, your table will not be re-booked. Please note last orders for food is 7pm Monday – Thursday and 815pm Friday – Sunday.
We respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation to ensure the best possible level of service to all of our guests. If you are running late, we kindly ask that you notify us by telephone at your earliest convenience. Your table will be held for 10 minutes after which time it may be allocated to another customer.
Tables cannot be reserved for drinks only from 430pm – 830pm. We will have a small number of tables available for drinks, however this is not guaranteed based on the number of bookings we may have.
For bookings of 8 or more we require a pre order for each guest.
For bookings of 10 or more a small deposit and a pre order is required to secure your booking. We require a £10 deposit per person.
Menu choices will need to be received a minimum of 36 Hours before your booking date.
We require at least two hours notice for every cancellation, but if you need to cancel at a later time please notify us as soon as possible. Deposits for large group bookings are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled by the customer.
We reserve the right to amend or cancel bookings due to issues beyond our control. Under these circumstances we will issue a refund on any deposit made.
We cater for most dietary requirements and have strict policies in place for customers with food allergies. These policies and our allergen menus are available to view by asking a member of our bar team. Please let us know of any allergies before you arrive for your booking. This will ensure that we are able to follow our food allergy policy, and take all reasonable precautions to avoid cross-contamination. However, whilst every effort is made to reduce the risk of cross-contamination in our bar and restaurant, we cannot guarantee that any of our dishes are free from allergens and therefore we cannot accept any liability in this respect.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the Castle Isle, please ensure you advise if you are bringing pets when making the booking so we can allocate the appropriate table for your booking.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and owners must ensure they do not climb on the furniture.
If you are celebrating a special occasion please advise one of our team members by giving us a call at least 1 week prior to your event and we would be more than happy to accommodate any requests.
