About Rosneath
Your home away from home on the scenic shores of the Gareloch
Rosneath Castle Park is a special place where quality meets breathtaking natural beauty. Just an hour away from Glasgow, you’ll find us nestled in 55 acres of beautiful parkland on a peaceful peninsula and perched on the scenic shores of the Gareloch. Family owned and rated 5-star by the Scottish tourist board, a warm welcome is waiting for you.
Rosneath Castle Park was established in 1954, and set out to become a peaceful retreat where people can truly unwind, soak up the scenery, and make lasting memories. As a cherished getaway for generations, we’re now proudly run by husband and wife team, Richard and Sarah Quibell, the 4th generation of the Quibell family. For over 70 years, we’ve welcomed residents and holidaymakers from near and far, providing a special place for families to relax, recharge, and reconnect with each other and nature.
Whether you’re looking for holiday home ownership, a self-catering caravan holiday, or a touring pitch for your caravan or motorhome, we have plenty of accommodation options. Our park is pet friendly and with on-site facilities including the Castle Isle Bar & Restaurant, on-site shop, launderette, soft play, water sports centre, and family funzone, everything you need for your break is right here waiting for you.
Over the years, we’ve heard countless stories from visitors who came here as children with their parents or grandparents—now returning with their own families to keep the tradition alive. That’s what makes Rosneath Castle Park’s history so special, and so much more than just a holiday park. As a home away from home, many of our guests also tell us how safe, peaceful, and welcoming Rosneath feels – so much so that they often book their next visit before they’ve even left! You too can escape to Scotland’s west coast and enjoy a stay filled with nature, relaxation and adventure.

"Just back from our first visit. Can’t speak highly enough about Rosneath Castle Park, it certainly is 5*, has everything you need and more. The caravan was superb and the views were amazing. The facilities were fab, everything you need from the shop, soft play, laundrette, the family zone, water sports and a first class restaurant. Highly recommend it to anyone. We were there with the 3 grandchildren our daughter and the dog. The park is super dog friendly."
